Meet Your Wedding Florist

Growing up in the French countryside, Romane developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of the wild and natural world. After a career in New York City, she found her true passion in Upstate New York, where she fell in love with growing her own flowers. With an abundance of blooms, her journey into floral design began, inspired by the rhythms of nature and the seasons.

As demand for her signature wild, effortless, and natural floral style grew, she expanded beyond the flower farm and opened a flower shop that now serves as a design studio for Hudson Valley weddings and events.

Romane’s floral designs are deeply rooted in seasonality and sustainability, celebrating the organic beauty of each bloom. Whether designing for an intimate gathering or an elaborate Hudson Valley wedding, her work captures the untamed elegance of nature—artful, timeless, and uniquely yours

SEASONAL & SUSTAINABLE WEDDING FLOWERS IN THE HUDSON VALLEY

Our commitment to sustainable wedding flowers.

As a Hudson Valley wedding florist, our passion for flowers began with our own flower farm. Growing each stem has allowed us to observe how flowers naturally curve, dance, and reach for sunlight—an invaluable insight that shapes our wild and whimsical wedding designs.

By embracing seasonality, we create timeless, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements that reflect nature’s ever-changing beauty. Each season brings unique blooms, ensuring that no two weddings are ever the same.

Sourcing locally means we have access to rare and delicate floral varieties that aren’t available in commercial markets. Unlike imported flowers bred for uniformity and transport, our blooms retain their natural movement, fragrance, and glow—qualities that make each arrangement truly special and memorable.

From the daintiest flower crown to a breathtaking ceremony arbor, our attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do. Creating unforgettable wedding florals with seasonal, sustainable blooms is our true passion.

A Wedding as Beautiful as Nature—Without Harming It

As a foam-free Hudson Valley wedding florist, we take pride in designing breathtaking floral arrangements without the use of floral foam. Still widely used by traditional florists, floral foam is a highly toxic, single-use plastic that poses serious environmental risks.

Instead, we rely on reusable and sustainable mechanics that honor both the planet and our craft. Our eco-conscious approach allows us to create stunning, long-lasting designs without compromising on beauty or artistry.

We believe that nature should return to nature. All of our materials and flowers are 100% natural and end up in our compost, where they transform into nutrient-rich black gold—feeding the soil and nurturing future blooms.

By choosing sustainable wedding flowers, you’re not only making a stylish statement—you’re making an impact.

  • We typically do not provide floral mock-ups or samples, as our designs are guided by seasonal availability and natural variations. Please note that this is intended to showcase the style and color palette rather than the exact flowers, as certain blooms may vary based on seasonality.

  • Absolutely! At Le Jardin, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. As both designers and growers, we cultivate many of our own blooms right here in the Hudson Valley, reducing the need for long-distance imports. We use seasonal, locally sourced flowers whenever possible, ensuring your wedding florals are both fresh and environmentally responsible.

We are also a foam-free florist, meaning we avoid harmful floral foam and instead use reusable, compostable mechanics for all our designs. After your wedding, flowers can be repurposed for guests to take home or returned to our farm, where they are composted to enrich the soil for future blooms.

Choosing sustainable wedding flowers means celebrating your love while honoring the beauty of nature—without compromise.

  • After your wedding, we bring the flowers back to our farm, where they are composted and transformed into nutrient-rich soil—“black gold”—to nourish future blooms. This sustainable cycle ensures that your wedding flowers continue to give back to the earth.

If you’d prefer to keep the flowers, we’re happy to leave them in buckets for you or your guests to take home and enjoy a little longer!
