Meet Your Wedding Florist

Growing up in the French countryside, Romane Recalde developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of the wild and natural world. After a career in New York City, she found her true passion in Upstate New York, where she fell in love with growing her own flowers. With an abundance of blooms, her journey into floral design began, inspired by the rhythms of nature and the seasons.

As demand for her signature wild, effortless, and natural floral style grew, she expanded beyond the flower farm and opened a flower shop that now serves as a design studio for Hudson Valley weddings and events.

Romane’s floral designs are deeply rooted in seasonality and sustainability, celebrating the organic beauty of each bloom. Whether designing for an intimate gathering or an elaborate Hudson Valley wedding, her work captures the untamed elegance of nature, artful, timeless, and uniquely yours.

SEASONAL & SUSTAINABLE WEDDING FLOWERS IN THE HUDSON VALLEY

Our commitment to sustainable wedding flowers.

As a Hudson Valley wedding florist, our passion for flowers began with our own flower farm. Growing each stem has allowed us to observe how flowers naturally curve, dance, and reach for sunlight, an invaluable insight that shapes our wild and whimsical wedding designs.

By embracing seasonality, we create timeless, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements that reflect nature’s ever-changing beauty. Each season brings unique blooms, ensuring that no two weddings are ever the same.

Sourcing locally means we have access to rare and delicate floral varieties that aren’t available in commercial markets. Unlike imported flowers bred for uniformity and transport, our blooms retain their natural movement, fragrance, and glow—qualities that make each arrangement truly special and memorable.

From the daintiest flower crown to a breathtaking ceremony arbor, our attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do. Creating unforgettable wedding florals with seasonal, sustainable blooms is our true passion.

A Wedding as Beautiful as Nature—Without Harming It

As a foam-free Hudson Valley wedding florist, we take pride in designing breathtaking floral arrangements without the use of floral foam. Still widely used by traditional florists, floral foam is a highly toxic, single-use plastic that poses serious environmental risks.

Instead, we rely on reusable and sustainable mechanics that honor both the planet and our craft. Our eco-conscious approach allows us to create stunning, long-lasting designs without compromising on beauty or artistry.

We believe that nature should return to nature. All of our materials and flowers are 100% natural and end up in our compost, where they transform into nutrient-rich black gold, feeding the soil and nurturing future blooms.

By choosing sustainable wedding flowers, you’re not only making a stylish statement, you’re making an impact.

Rachelle | Rhinebeck, NY

“Romane is a joy to work with, she seeks to understand the needs of the event and creates seasonally beautiful arrangements sourced from her gardens that are a work of art. It felt like it all came together effortlessly.”

Morgan | Brooklyn, NY

“When I first contacted Romane to inquire about her doing my flowers for my bridal shower, despite providing minimal direction initially, Romane's ability to take a few ideas and transform them into a masterpiece was incredible. Her artistic eye and creativity were evident in every detail of the project from conception and planning to day of execution. When I hired Romane to do my flowers for my bridal shower, I didn’t expect to love them more than the flowers on my wedding day, but her talent left everyone talking about the flowers well after the event ended. I cannot recommend Romane more for anyone seeking stunning, bespoke florals that go above and beyond”

Raveena | Hudson Valley, NY

“From the outset, Romane grasped the essence of the countryside-inspired brief easily. Her arrangements, characterized by their rambling, wild beauty, set the perfect tone for our relaxed wedding. Utilizing locally sourced florals grown at her farm in Amenia, her commitment to showcasing the beauty of the region was evident. Working with her was so lovely and easy, I wholeheartedly recommend her for any floral and event needs”
